Black Friday Android Phones Deals from Sprint

Black Friday is upon us and so are the savings (and rabid mobs, for that matter). This year, Sprint wants everyone to know that they’ll have Android handsets available for all your Black Friday shopping needs. And, since many of you will be out there braving the crowds anyway, we thought it was a good idea to roundup those deals for you in this handy post. All the phones run either Android 2.1 Eclair or 2.2 Froyo, and a bunch of them have the new Sprint ID system built-in, so you can buy bundles of custom mobile content according to your tastes.

  • First, there’s the HTC EVO 4G, complete with high-speed WiMAX 4G connectivity and a massive 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen for $199.99 on a two-year contract. With 1GHz Snapdragon processing power, an 8-megapixel camera, and the latest version of Android OS, the EVO 4G is a multimedia powerhouse.
  • If you need a physical keyboard, The Samsung Epic 4G is available for $249.99 with new 2-year contract. It also has WiMAX, and DLNA to stream your videos to your TV over the local Wi-Fi network. On the one hand, you have the 4-inch Super AMOLED display for showing off your pictures and videos, but on the other hand, you have a slide-out QWERTY keyboard to do your thumbs’ bidding.
  • On the budget-minded side of things, the LG Optimus S will be on sale for $49.99 on contact after a $100 mail-in rebate. It only has a 3.2-inch touchscreen and a 3.2 megapixel camera, but at that price it’s hard to go wrong.
  • The Sanyo Zio is also going for $49.99 if you’re on a budget, but want something with, say 3.5-inch screen and a sleek exterior design. The Zio offers a stylish alternative to first-time smartphone shoppers with an eye for flair.
  • There’s also the Samsung Tansform with a physical slide-out keyboard for $149.99 if you’re looking for something cheaper than the Epic, but still need a capable Android phone that can keep up with your thumbs’ typing needs.
  • And, last, but certainly not least is the Samsung Galaxy Tab, going for $399 on contract. It’s the world’s first and foremost 7-inch Android tablet – a fine alternative to the iPad if you’re not into submitting under Apple’s boot-heel. The 7-inch display is large enough to get some real work done, but small enough to still be portable and accommodating of thumb-typing tasks. And, since it works on Sprint’s 3G network, you’ll always be connected and ready to explore the interwebs.

If you want to pick up any of these, head on over to Sprint’s holiday minisite. Oh, and remember, if you really want to get the most out of any of these, you’ll want to consider Sprint’s Simply Everything $69.99/month plan.

(P.S.: Yes, this is a sponsored post.)
