If you’re looking for a new iPhone 4 this holiday season, it’s looking like deals are just starting to shape-up. Case-in-point today comes to us from Radio Shack.
The Los Angeles Times is reporting ‘The Shack‘ will put the iPhone 4 up for grabs next week through December 11th at ridiculous, blowout, everything-must-go prices. OK, maybe that’s a little much, but let me give you the skinny. Radio Shack are slated to offer $50 off ALL iPhone handsets to new AT&T customers, and existing costumers eligible for an upgrade. That’s all fine and dandy, but there’s more.
The pot gets sweetened regarding trade-ins. If you already run an iPhone 3G or 3GS, and are making an upgrade, next week may be your time to shine. Trade-in values for your older iOS-powered device could allow you to walk out of the store with a shiny new iPhone 4 for as little as $25. Turn-in your 3G for a $75 credit, or 3GS for a $125 credit. Cool beans.
With all that said, I still have to place the usual ‘grain of salt’ disclaimer on this. With the holiday season well and truly here, many rumors and potential ‘deal’ alerts are going to hit us hard. Let’s keep a cool head and wait ’til Monday to see if this one comes true. If and when the deal is a go, you’ll need to head into a physical Radio Shack location to take advantage.
