Infographics are awesome. Done right, they can convey a variety of pithy facts in an engaging and entertaining format. A recent one making the rounds is the cell phone usage infographics compiled by Wilson Electronics. Shown below, the infographic reveals several things we already knew – like those text-crazed under 25-ers who are more likely to text and eat, text and use the bathroom, and text and have sex than their over 25 counterparts. Speaking of sex, 15% of you have answered your phone in the midst of heated passion. Naughty, naughty.
While I enjoyed most of the infographic, there is a problem with the pie chart for the top smartphone platforms for the U.S. BlackBerry is the top platform and Windows Mobile has more market share than Android? That is so 2009.
