SEGA iOS Games On Sale

If you’ve been known to play a game or two in your day (haven’t we all?), and dig classic titles from folks like SEGA… Keep reading. There’s good news ahead.

You may recall back around Thanksgiving (I think it was Thanksgiving?) that SEGA had a little bit of a sale. If you missed your opportunity to grab some decent titles at a fair savings, SEGA is all geared up to do the same again. They’ve gone absolutely mad, and have slashed prices on ALL of their iOS games available in the Apple App Store. Below is the complete list, provided by the SEGA Blog:

  • Chu Chu Rocket: $4.99 $2.99
  • Chu Chu Rocket HD: $6.99 $4.99
  • Ecco the Dolphin: $2.99 $0.99
  • Golden Axe: $2.99 $0.99
  • Gunstar Heroes: $4.99 $2.99
  • Phantasy Star II: $4.99 $2.99
  • Shining Force: $2.99 $0.99
  • Super Monkey Ball 2: $5.99 $2.99
  • Super Monkey Ball 2 Sakura Edition: $7.99 $4.99
  • Sonic The Hedgehog 1: $5.99 $4.99
  • Sonic The Hedgehog 2: $5.99 $4.99
  • Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode 1: $9.99 $6.99
  • Streets of Rage: $2.99 $0.99

Now, just because these games are on sale doesn’t mean you need to go out and drop your coin without a look. Be sure to read the reviews, look up gameplay videos and more before you even consider a purchase. There’s nothing I hate more than buying a game, only to find out it’s a dud immediately after playing it for the first time. A little bit of research goes a long way in avoiding that type of disappointment.

At any rate, happy gaming, you crazy iPhone and iPad-packing retro gamers! If you decide to purchase any of these, be sure to let us know what you think, right here in the comments!
