Tenor Nick P. and Pianist Sam Brash took some wonderful lyrics written by Ljova and created the anthem, called “An iPhone on Verizon,” that will make everyone cry, whether in joy over the impending Verizon iPhone or in pain over the grating, repetitive melody.
Of course, this anthem may not be a sincere plea for the Verizon iPhone. It could be one of those videos recorded with the hope that it would go viral, but the trio’s choice of the Verizon iPhone as their subject shows how desperate people are for the CDMA variant of the fruit phone. Not just a little desperate, but very, very desperate. So desperate that Verizon may pick up millions of subscribers from other carriers and have 8 million of its own customers drop their current phone for the iPhone.
Only time will tell but I am keeping my fingers crossed that these Verizon iPhone rumors finally pan out. Not only would I love to see an iPhone on the nation’s #1 wireless carrier, I would also love to see an upbeat sequel to the video below. Call me crazy, if you want.
