LG Optimus Chic Entry-Level Android Phone Coming to Bell

The Motorola Atrix will probably cost a pretty penny when it comes out on Bell, so any Canadians looking for something a little more affordable will be interested in hearing about the LG Optimus Chic coming our on January 14. The suggested retail price is $249.95, meaning it’ll probably be free once you sign on for a three-year contract.

That being said, the specs won’t blow you away. It has a 3.2-inch 320 x 480 display, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, Android 2.2, a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus, FM radio, and a 624 MHz processor.

The LG Optimus Chic was announced over the summer and released just about everywhere but North America last month. In Canada, it would compete nicely as a slate alternative to the Mobilicity’s Motorola Spice, since you could in theory pick it up for $250 on Bell without a contract. We’ll keep an ear out for a proper announcement in the near future.
