If you’re a fan of streaming radio, you’ve probably already tried Slacker Radio. Perhaps you might even be a subscriber – you really should if you aren’t already – so you know what the music streaming service has to offer. Now that Verizon is pumping up its 4G LTE network as being lightning fast, along with a portfolio of pretty slick smartphones to accompany it, Slacker is jumping on the opportunity and is launching an app that is optimized for Verizon’s 4G LTE network.

Now we’ll get higher quality audio, faster caching times and you’ll see higher quality album art if that’s your thing.

For more details, check out the press release on the following page. In the meantime, check out our coverage of the Verizon 4G LTE event here, and keep following our CES 2011 coverage as we bring you more mobile goodies from the showroom floor of the Las Vegas Convention Center!
