Rope Cut is the Cut the Rope clone for Android

While Android smartphone users are waiting for ZeptoLab and Chillingo to finally bring their super-popular Cut the Rope title to the Android Market, a company called Feelingtouch decided to capitalize on the modern users’ lack of patience. They’ve launched Rope Cut which is a blatant copy of the iOS hit game.

In addition to the name of the app, the graphics is also extremely similar with Feelingtouch even calling the game “Cut the Rope – Android version” on its Facebook page. That by itself sounds like a copyright infringement case.

To be fair, there are some differences included as well. For one thing, you won’t be feeding Om Nom, but a cute little green snake.

It sounds like a solid legal case with presumable victory for ZeptoLab and Chillingo. In the meantime, while the original Cut the Rope duo doesn’t send some cease and desist letter to Feelingtouch, you can download Rope Cut for free from the Android Market…
