Well, it looks like this app thing is here to stay, as even PBS is jumping into the game. The PBS iPhone app is now available and it offers more than 300 videos from its shows that can be streamed to your Retina Display.
The PBS iPhone app is free and it’s actually pretty slick looking. Along with feeling smug because you have this on your phone, the PBS iPhone app will give you access to shows like Antiques Roadshow, Frontline, History Detectives, Masterpiece, Nature, Need to Know, Nova and Secrets of the Dead.
The PBS iPhone app also includes the ability to create reminders for your calendar, more information about the shows, social integration with Facebook and Twitter and the ability to purchase shows and episodes that you’d like to own.
