The Korean company has finally released the Android 2.2 Froyo update for your “QWERTY smartphone.” To grab it, visit this page on Samsung’s website, click on the “Software” link beside “Manuals,” and then click on the 102.28MB sized file to download it on your Windows PC (Macs won’t do). Start the application and follow on-screen instructions. Make sure to backup your data prior to proceeding, just in case something goes wrong. Good luck! 😉
