Until this point, you could only search and book a hotel and/or flight using Kayak’s iPhone app. Renting a car was not an option until now…
Enter GroundLink, which has partnered with the travel search engine to allow users to book ground transportation (not exactly “regular” rent-a-car) from Kayak on their iPhone. As a result, users will be able to search through GroundLink’s extensive database of sedans, SUV’s and stretch limousines anywhere in the world. In total, GroundLink’s global network covers over 5,000 airports, 15,000 cities and 45,000 providers, providing tons of options at your fingertips.
The two companies worked together to take advantage of GroundLink’s API and integrate the GroundLink marketplace into the Kayak iPhone app.
