Are you a fan of making minor adjustments to your images on your iPhone or iPad? Perhaps you’re already familiar with Adobe Photoshop Express for iOS devices, but if you aren’t, it’s worth checking out. The app has been updated to version 1.5 and now has retina display support and a few new features.
If you’re familiar with Photoshop already, then you’ll know that this is a very watered-down version of the software. In fact, it’s not even close to what you can do on your desktop or laptop computer. However, it does come in handy when you want to adjust or manipulate images on your iPhone or iPad. You can adjust brightness, contrast, tint, saturation and straighten or crop images, too.
You’ll be able to access your image uploads, which you can now do as background processes, via Photoshop.com if you have an account.
The app is free, but the updated version requires iOS 4.2 or greater. So, if you’re like me and you have a jailbroken device running 4.1 because you’re waiting for the 4.3 untethered jailbreak, you’re likely stuck with the older version or none at all. If that’s the case, try other image editing applications like Camera+ (it costs $0.99) or DigitalFocus.
