
Samsung unveiled a new member of its Bada family of devices – Wave 578. At first glance, it looks like the Wave 2 (Wave 528), but there’s more about it under the hood. We’re talking about the first NFC-enabled Bada product that should allow contactless payments and related services like door lock/unlock.
Specs wise, the Wave 578 comes with a 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen, 3.2-megapixel camera on the back, front-facing VGA camera for video calls, 3.6Mbps HSDPA and WiFi (802.11 b/g/n) connectivity, 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 3.0, proximity and accelerometer sensors, FM radio, 1200mAh battery and a microSD memory card slot. As for the size, it measures 107.9×54.9×12.5 mm and has a weight of 99.8 grams.
