Mobile 2D barcode scanning company JAGTAG announced QR Codes Powered by JAGTAG, which enables all users regardless of phone type they own to receive multimedia content.

Here’s a problem – you may use QR codes but they are not scanned by tons of people. Quite the contrary, the majority of folks still own feature phones which can’t scan QR codes. Additionally, even if a mobile device has the capability, it’s likely that Average Joe doesn’t know how to do it.

Enter QR Codes Powered by JAGTAG that will allow 90% of U.S. users to interact with QR codes and receive multimedia content, greatly expanding mobile campaigns as a result. In order to access QR code content, users can now simply send in a picture of a JAGTAG powered QR code to receive video, images, audio or text. This multimedia message is sent directly to the phone’s inbox, rather than as a link to the multimedia content, with JAGTAG’s device detection technology ensuring users receive content optimized for their specific phone…

JAGTAG’s mobile marketing platform provides advanced functionality to deliver opt-ins, sweepstakes entries, quizzes and multiple entry campaigns that require items such as age verification.
