Good news if you: a) Live in Canada; b) Want to try out Windows Phone 7; c) Don’t mind committing to three-year contracts. A local branch of Best Buy is offering Rogers Wireless’ Samsung Focus for free on a (way too long) three-year contract. At least it’s good to know that if you do go for the Focus, you won’t be left out with the initial Windows Phone 7 version — update for Samsung phones is coming soon, as well.
If there were two years involved, the title of this post would include the “Hot” prefix; this way I can’t say that cause three years is like forever in the mobile industry.
In related news, you may’ve heard Dell Venue Pro is also coming to Rogers. It will cost more money upfront, but also rock a bigger screen and the ever-useful QWERTY keyboard. It’s your call…
