Metacritic launches Movie Finder for iPhone

Website Metacritic is going for the iOS users with its first mobile app called Movie Finder. Metacritic is known to screen and select respected critics and combine all of their individual scores into the so called Metascore, which is an overall grade for each film. Using the iOS app, users can gauge this critical consensus about a movie’s quality while on the go.

In addition to offering movie reviews, Movie Finder also allows users to find theaters and show times anywhere in the U.S. Location component is also built-in so that users can get a list of the movies playing in a theater nearby along with each movie’s Metascore and user scores. Sharing capability is also there, allowing folks to share the film details with their buddies via email, SMS and/or Facebook.

Finally, when you’ve seen some movie, you can rate it right from within the app and eventually help other users select what to watch and what not… AppStore link is below.
