
European company Vogel’s launched a new patented RingO universal tablet mounting system for tablets, including the original iPad, iPad 2 and Samsung Galaxy Tab, with new versions for additional devices available at a later date. Using RingO, users are able to mount their tablet onto virtually any surface such as wall, car, tile and boat – to watch movies, read the latest news or use any app.
Thanks to RingO’s modular design, you can quickly snap the RingO Cover onto a tablet, which then can be clicked securely onto a variety of RingO mounts.
The device was initially introduced at IFA in Berlin on September 2010, under the name Mount & Cover. In the meantime, Vogel’s figured they need a better name to reflect the circular mounting design and RingO was born.
RingO is still not available and those interested will have to wait for late April to get it. At that point, it [RingO] will hit major retailers and Apple Premium Resellers with a price tag of $69.99 for the Starter Pack and $99.99 for the Car Pack…
