As UIQ platform continues to grow, UIQ Technology seeks new ways of increasing the number of qualified applicants for open positions as software engineers – one way is by starting a program called UIQ Academy.
UIQ Academy is a 20 week educational program, starting in August 2006, where UIQ Technology, Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH) and Länsarbetsnämnden (LAN) in Blekinge make a joint effort to generate good applicants for coming open positions as software engineers. Participants do not get the job at UIQ Technology automatically, but will put them in a very good position when UIQ Technology starts recruiting more software engineers.
The training will take place under business-like circumstances, with project assignments and case studies supplied by UIQ Technology. The practical learning services will be the focal point for the students, but the BTH teachers will guarantee a professional high-standard of the courses and a cutting-edge training.
Swedish Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) will help facilitate an effective match between applicants and the final participants to UIQ Academy. They will support and prepare jobseekers to enable them to apply for, and to participate in, this education for software engineers.
An information meeting will be held on May 3, 2006. and if you are interested you must apply before May 12, 2006.
