Google’s popular I/O developer conference sold out in a quick 59 minutes, leaving many interested developers out in the cold. To accommodate those who wanted to attend I/O but missed that short window of opportunity for registration, the Mountain View company has decided to stream a large chunk of the conference over the Internet.

Google will offer a live video feed from the two main session rooms each day of the conference from 9:00 a.m PST to 6:00 p.m. PST. This feed will let viewers watch the major keynote and major training sessions on Android and Chrome. Sessions that are not streamed live will be made available the day after the presentation as HD recordings. Captioning will be included on both the live streams and recorded videos. International developers will benefit from a caption translation service provided by Google Translate.

Google previously arranged Google I/O Extended events that lets developers gather in groups in a handful of cities to join watch the event live from these remote locations. US locations include Boise, ID, Charlotte, NC, Maui, HI, San José, CA, Twin Cities, MN, and Washington, DC. If you can’t get to I/O or one of these Extended I/O parties, then you can watch in the comfort of your own home or organize your own viewing party.
