As announced earlier this week, the G-Slate is now officially available in T-Mobile stores. The Android tablet takes a middle of the road approach to the tablet form factor by offering an 8.9-inch display instead of the standard 7-inch or 10-inch. Besides an 8.9-inch screen with 3D capability and a 1280 x 720 resolution, the G-Slate also offers the following:
- Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor
- 5-megapixel rear-facing stereoscopic camera with LED flash, Full HD 1080p and 3D video recording
- 720p HD video playback
- HDMI for 1080p HD and 3D output
- Android 3.0 Honeycomb
The G-Slate will set you back a cool $529 after a $100 mail-in rebate and with a two-year customer agreement. It is available online and in T-Mobile retail stores. In addition to the G-Slate, T-Mobile is also launching the Sidekick 4G and the G2x in stores starting today. If you plan to score one today, let us know in the comments. If you already have one in hand, lets us know what you think about the latest Android tablet to hit the market.
