Verizon may be inching closer and closer to launching its new contract -contract free unlimited handset plans and mobile phones. A series of handsets brandishing Verizon Wireless logos and the Unleashed brand name have started to arrive at Best Buy. Thus far, the carrier may launch this service with several feature phones including the LG Accolade ($79.99), the Pantech Caper ($79.99) and the LG Cosmos ($39.99).
The marketing materials on the package confirm the Unleashed pricing plan which offers unlimited talk, text, and mobile web for a mere $50. This pricing matched that of Boost Mobile which also offers no-contract handsets with unlimited calling, text and web for $50. Verizon has yet to confirm these plans, but based on these leaked images, official confirmation should be coming down the pick soon.
