T-Mobile announced two new affordable Android smartphones – Samsung Exhibit 4G and Samsung Gravity SMART, both of which should be available later in the month (June 8th?) for less than $100.
The first of the two, which we’ve originally spotted in early May, is an all-touchscreen device that promises to bring Gingerbread to the masses. Feature wise, the Exhibit 4G comes with a 1GHz processor, HSPA+ (4G) and Wi-Fi connectivity, 3-megapixel camera with flash and camcorder capability, front-facing camera for video calls, preloaded T-Mobile TV app as well as few games like Bejeweled 2, Hasbro’s SCRABBLE (in U.S. and Canada only) and Doodle Jump. It will be available in two color finishes (violet and black) for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate and with a two-year contract.
The second device is made for heavy texters who will appreciate its side-sliding QWERTY keyboard. The Samsung Gravity SMART rocks a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, while Android 2.2 Froyo is running the show. The first smart Gravity phone will be available in few colors, including “Berry Red” and “Sapphire Blue” which will retail for $69.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate and with a two-year contract; and “Lunar Gray” which will cost $29.99 with a two-year service agreement…
