As part of its efforts to become the world’s largest mobile phone manufacturer, Samsung committed some serious cash to sponsor the 2012 London Olympics. The Korean company’s product portfolio is not just about phones, but their strategy for the big sports event seems to put the emphasis on its handsets. For that end they teamed-up with artist Kate Moross who created the lively Galaxy S (or that’s Galaxy Apollo) logo that waves at people.
The mentioned device (Galaxy S) is one of the most popular Android smartphones launched to date and has been released in a number of versions for different markets and carriers around the world. Specs wise, it comes with a 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen (Super AMOLED or LCD), 5-megapixel camera, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, solid amount of built-in storage (depending on the device version) and a memory card slot.
