OfficeMax is now selling a portion of Virgin Mobile USA’s portfolio. Among the products available for purchase through OfficeMax stores are Novatel’s MiFi 2200 mobile hotspot and Ovation MC760 USB modem, BlackBerry Curve 8530 smartphone, as well as the carrier’s Broadband2Go plans (which go with the first two devices).

Virgin is known for offering low-cost plans that don’t require long-term commitments and setup fees. For instance, $10 gets you 100 MB for 10 days, while $20/month is good for half a gig. Finally, there’s the unlimited plan, which could be yours for $50 per month.

If you want the mentioned BlackBerry smartphone, it will cost you $129.99 plus $35/month for the plan that comes with unlimited text, email, data and web and 300 anytime minutes.

Commenting on the news, OfficeMax’s Ryan Vero said: “OfficeMax is excited to offer our customers access to the innovative Virgin Mobile Broadband2Go products and services. We are always looking for ways to provide our customers with the technologies they want to stay connected while on the go and Broadband2Go portfolio allows us to do just that.”
