When you think of cutting-edge technology and tablets, you probably think of Russell Brand, right? Wait, you don’t. Well, that makes sense but HP is tapping the movie star to promote its just-released TouchPad with webOS.
Calling it his “robot butler,” Russell Brand does his usual cheeky bits about why you should get this tablet but I’m not convinced these semi-amusing ads are enough to convince me to get an HP TouchPad. We had a retail unit and found the hardware was a smudge and fingerprint magnet and the software was just not ready for prime time (we had multiple reboots in the middle of using the thing).
