Samsung to offer early access to bada SDK 2.0 to select developers

And while we still have our doubts on the prospects of bada platform, Samsung doesn’t seem to give up on it. Quite the contrary, version 2.0 should be released later this year and in the meantime the Korean giant will be providing select developers with early access to the next-gen SDK. We don’t know what Sammy’s criteria for selecting developers for this privilege, but can guess it has something to do with the number of apps released for existing bada smartphones such as Wave, Wave II and others. Heck even if you (your company) don’t have any bada apps out there, nothing stops you from trying to sneak in. Head over to this page, login to the developer site and ask for access. Hopefully you’ll be in the select few with Samsung notifying you to grab the SDK before the rest of the world.

And if you don’t know what bada 2.0 is all about, you can check out this page to access videos from this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
