Fruit Ninja, the super-popular mobile game from Australian studio Halfbrick, is now available as a free download from the Android Market. Obviously there are some ads included, but if they are like the ones Angry Birds features, it’s not a big deal.

If you’ve been living under a rock, here’s what you should know about Fruit Ninja (the official pitch):

Fruit Ninja is the highly addictive gaming craze that lets players master their ninja-chopping skills by slashing and splattering fruit. Players slice simply by swiping the touch-screen with one or more fingers, with Classic, Zen and Arcade being the three different game modes to choose from.

Also included in the game is the OpenFeint support, allowing you to compete for the top score with Fruit Ninjas all around the world, and share your highscores via Facebook and Twitter. Moreover, there’s the Dojo content with different blades and backgrounds, which can be unlocked by completing various objectives within the game.

In a nutshell, Fruit Ninja is one of those must-have games which thus far has been downloaded by more than 35 million people on different mobile devices. Hit the link below and start slicing those fruits. 😉
