To celebrate selling the 2 million Galaxy S II units in South Korea, Samsung unveiled uniquely-designed battery covers for its super-popular Android smartphone. There are four different designs to choose from, all of which will be available “in limited numbers.” We’ve no idea what that exactly means and can only hope the electronics giant will bring these fashionable accessories to the Western hemisphere as well. In any case, as soon as Sammy’s device hits the U.S. market, I’m sure accessory makers will do their best to offer an array of options that promise to make your Galaxy S II unique. In the meantime, those of us in Europe wait for the sexy white version of the smartphone to be launched.

For those of you living under a rock, you should know the Samsung Galaxy S II is arguably the best Android smartphone launched to date. It comes with a big 4.3-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen, 8-megapixel camera, dual-core processor and all other standard for a high-end device goodies like an array of sensors, tons of memory and so on.
