Every handset maker and their mama are building websites for developers. Why would LG be any different? Really, there’s no reason not to support developers to make your phones even better.
That being said, we’re glad to report that Korean electronics giant is joining the wave and has recently set up the LG Mobile Developer Network to help developers in collecting data, downloading SDKs, and making proposals for new applications.
I haven’t seen the dedicated website myself, but the way I see it LG should support all the platforms they’re using. This includes Symbian, Windows Mobile, Java and hopefully Android in the near future. After all, they are a member of the Open Handset Alliance and that may be the reason for setting up a developer network. Now I’m speculating…
