You’ve probably already heard that a particle moving faster than the speed of light has been found at CERN in Switzerland. Perhaps reading the news is not good enough experience for you, maybe you want to know more about the Large Hadron Collider and the people on the edge of modern physics. Luckily… there’s an app for that. An Android app to be more precise, that allows you to dig deeper into the project and even play a little game called “Hunt the Higgs.”
Here’s what the official app description says about the LHSee app:
LHSee makes the Hadron Collider accessible to anybody with an Android smartphone or tablet PC. Written by Oxford University scientists in collaboration with the ATLAS experiment at CERN, it is designed for use by experts and non-experts alike.
Sounds worth checking out if you ask me. And since it’s a free download, there really is no reason why not installing it right now. 😉
