If you own an Android-powered smartphone, chances are you’re using ASTRO to manage your files. The popular file manager app provides all the basic features you would expect from such application plus much more via third-party plugins. As a matter of fact, it’s one of those must-have applications pretty much every Android user should have installed on his/her device.

And now it has been updated with support for Honeycomb tablets. Needless to say, all that extra space is used to cram more information on the screen, presenting users with a split-screen menu view. In addition, there are in-app drag and drop capabilities, one-touch pop-up menu options (very handy), and advanced settings for customizing user experience.

In addition, this release of ASTRO is friendlier for the new users thanks to the built-in splash screen from where users get the basic information about the application and can also setup some of the app’s features. Needless to say, you can alter the settings to never see this screen again…

ASTRO File Manager remains a free app and you can grab it from a link below.
