Oh boy, Tuesday is going to be a big day for the mobile world, as we’ll be hearing major announcements from Research In Motion, Motorola, Samsung and Google. You bet your sweet behind that IntoMobile will be covering all of it live, friends.

First off, it’s Research In Motion’s DevCon in lovely San Francisco. RIM has been feeling the heat lately with its outages and it’s really hoping to change the narrative with some major software and perhaps even some hardware announcement. We’ve flown in Simon Sage from Ottawa to help cover the major BlackBerry show.

What are we going to see? Well, it’s a given that we’ll see the BlackBerry PlayBook 2.0 software which will finally bring the tablet a native e-mail and BBM client, as well as shed some light on how the Android apps engine will work. There’s also a strong chance we see the first QNX BlackBerry phones here, even if it’s just a developer prototype. Simon is even holding out hope that we may get some new hardware announcements too. Tune in at 8:30 a.m. (PST) for a live blog of the RIM DevCon keynote.

Motorola is also having an event across the country around the same time, as we’re expecting Moto to show off the Droid Razr and perhaps the Xoom 2 or a 7-inch tablet. The leaked pictures and specs of the Droid Razr (or whatever it winds up being called) look pretty nice, as we’re expecting a nice large screen, dual-core processor, 4G LTE support for Verizon, all in a nice thin frame. IntoMobile East will be there live-blogging the event and it kicks off around 9 a.m. PST.

Last, but certainly not least, Samsung will be showing off its latest and greatest at an event where we believe the Galaxy Prime and Android Ice Cream Sandwich will be unveiled. This was originally supposed to happen last week at CTIA but the event was pushed back for unexplained reasons. Regardless, the phone is supposed to pack all of the latest hardware available (720p screen, 4G LTE, etc.) and Android Ice Cream Sandwich should have plenty of fun new features. The event is taking place in Hong Kong Oct. 19 but the time difference means the livestream will kick off around 7 p.m. PST and we’ll be here with you.

It’s going to be a big, big week for mobile news, so get your rest tonight.
