Well, it’s about a week later than we would have liked but Samsung and Google are all set to unveil the Samsung Galaxy Prime with the new Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. While we didn’t get on the plane to fly out to Hong Kong, we’ll have the live stream going and we hope that you follow along with us and let us know what you think.

The Samsung Galaxy Prime is expected to have a massive 4.6-inch screen that is a true, 720p screen – we cannot wait to get our eyeballs on this thing in person. Inside, we’re expecting a 1.2 GHz processor (dual core), 1 GB of RAM, 4G LTE for Verizon, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and all the goodies you’d expect from this type of device. The rumors say we’re in store for a 5-megapixel camera but it should have a much-better sensor than what’s in current 5-megapixel cameras.

As for Android Ice Cream Sandwich, we’ve seen some leaked videos and photos and it is supposed to unify the phone and tablet versions and it will include a revamped user interface. Other leaks suggest we’re in store for a built-in photo editor with filters and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more goodies in there.

Most of the questions should be answered very shortly, so go ahead and watch along and hop in to let us know your thoughts. Sorry we can’t embed it but you can watch the announcement here and chat along below. Our friends over at Phandroid are on the scene and the press release they’ve been handed say the device will have:
