Virgin Mobile USA is launching a new device for heavy texters, Samsung M575, on payLo plans. Available exclusively through Best Buy for $79.99 (excluding taxes), this QWERTY keyboard-equipped phone also comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and a memory card slot. When it comes to pre-installed software, there are IM and email clients, web browser, media player and other “standard mobile apps” like calculator, calendar, alarm clock and so on.
As for Virgin’s payLo offering, it provides users with 1,500 domestic voice minutes, 1,500 messages (text, picture, email and/or IM) and 30MB of mobile data for $30 per month.
