Sony Ericsson has added Pinball Ride to a growing list of games optimized for the Xperia Play. Instead of using touchscreen controls, owners of the “first PlayStation certified smartphone” will be bumping balls with shoulder buttons, making for a much better experience.

Aside from that, the game remains pretty much unchanged, featuring cross-platform competition and the ability to share your highscore on a Facebook wall (and tell the world just how good you are in this pinball game).

There are two modes to play with – Story mode with its own illustrated story and soundtrack, and the Burst mode. Moreover, there are 20 unlockable achievements to win…

Like it? It’s available for $2.49 from the Android Market and Xperia Play launcher.
