The popular virtual keyboard solution for Android, SwiftKey, has been updated for smartphone and tablet users. The new versions of SwiftKey X and SwiftKey Tablet X are now available to everyone.

There are several important elements of this release, including:

  • Improved word predictions Fluency engine that makes typing faster and more efficient.
  • Multi-touch support – finally!
  • Improved multi-language support – this update adds Arabic and Hebrew to our list of supported languages, bringing the total to 35. You can enable up to three languages at once and switch seamlessly between different layouts by sliding the spacebar. Also, for the first time, there’s the full language localization for Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese.
  • Support for DVORAK and COLEMAK layouts
  • The ability to change the height of the keys to suit different devices and finger sizes
  • Improved Settings menu
