Being an editor at IntoMobile I get to respond to many different mobile-related questions my friends have. It’s not that I mind that much – it’s just when you say something 10 times, you want to write it down so you don’t have to repeat yourself on and on.
One such question is “What is a Windows Phone.” And there are two answers here:
- It’s a smartphone running Microsoft’s mobile OS – Windows Phone
- It’s a smartphone platform (OS) developed by Microsoft that supersedes Windows Mobile
Of course, that’s just the first part of the equation, cause the next question is – which phones are those?
To that I say – there are number of different Windows Phone models made by the major handset makers like LG, Samsung, Acer, Dell and Nokia, with more companies joining the trend.
Finally to the “which is the best Windows Phone device” question I answer – HTC Titan. Yeah, it’s kinda bulky with its 4.7-inch screen but it’s well worth the money… if you want a Windows Phone device, that is.
