While most of the world, U.S. included, still waits to grab the brand new Samsung Galaxy Note, the company has started selling the LTE version in its own backyard. The Galaxy Note LTE (model number SHV-E160) is now available through SK Telecom and LG U+. It’s pretty much the same device as the one Germans can buy with few changes under the hood: it has the LTE radio (obviously), T-DMB mobile TV receiver (very important in Korea) and more built-in storage (32 vs 16 gigs). Other than that, everything else is the same, including two cameras (8-megapixel on the back, 2-megapixel front-facing on), Wi-Fi, 5.3-inch Super AMOLED HD (1280×800 pixels) touchscreen and so on. Now, we’re wondering whether some U.S. network will launch this baby. If I were at Verizon Wireless or AT&T, I would definitely want such a device in my portfolio. Unfortunately, we’ve no clue whether something like that will actually happen. Keeping our fingers cross can’t harm – that’s sure. 😉
