Earlier this month at CES, AT&T announced that it would be carrying the Galaxy Note. In a timely manner, the carrier confirmed the tablet-sized phone will go on sale starting February 19th. Customers can pre-order the Android device both online and in-store starting February 5th and will receive their Galaxy Note by the 17th.

The Galaxy Note is a monster of a phone with a 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED screen that’s 0.7 inches bigger than the Galaxy Nexus. It has a whopping 800 x 1280 pixels (WXGA) resolution with 285 pixels per inch. Under the hood, the Galaxy Note has a 1.4GHz dual-core chip, 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage. It’s powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Samsung’s TouchWiz skin. It also has an 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording, a 2-megapixel front-facing webcam, 4G LTE connectivity and the stylus-based S Pen system for entering notes.

The Galaxy Note will retail for $299 which includes a new two-year contract with AT&T. Check out our video on the AT&T Note from CES 2012.
