AT&T and LG released the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Phoenix smartphone, which we know as the carrier’s version of the LG Optimus One. Unfortunately, it’s not over-the-air (OTA) update, and you’ll have to actually connect your smartphone to the PC to get the latest version of the platform. You can get all the details on how to proceed from a dedicated page at LG’s website.
As usual, we advise you to backup all your data. This update will *definitely* wipe your phone’s internal memory, so make sure to have a local copy of all the important information. If that’s on place, you’re ready to proceed to get all the goodies Gingerbread brings. Good luck! 😉
