Verizon to offer limited edition DROID RAZRs to its employees?

Well what do we have here? Some sort of special version of the DROID RAZR, which according to rumors will be offered to Verizon’s employees. It is said that those wearing Big Red’s t-shirts will be able to get the Limited Edition 16GB model of DROID RAZR for $99 and 32GB DROID RAZR MAXX for $199.

Specs wise, these phones are same as the original devices under the hood. There are some cosmetic changes with each unit having an engraved unique number on the rear side, along with the “Limited Edition” logo on the front of the phone. Moreover, Verizon will also offer a free docking station with each Limited Edition RAZR device.

The rumor goes on suggesting that the launch is set for April, and we’re not sure whether “regular” folks (those not working for Verizon) will be able to get these phones, too. I like the red and black look, though by April I don’t think that folks from the industry will want a phone without a 720p screen. Or that’s just a geek inside me talking. 😉
