Something is coming soon to AT&T and Verizon

Spotted on both Verizon Wireless’ website and AT&T’s main website are teasers that hint something is coming soon to each company’s product lineup. Now it could be coincidence that these banners appeared on the eve of Apple’s big iPad announcement, but it’s also possible the two companies know more about Apple’s plans for the iPad 3 than we do.

Unless you live under the rock, you probably know that Tim Cook is about to unveil the next generation tablet on Wednesday. It’s not too much of a jump to assume these banners are referring to 4G versions of the iPad. A 4G iPad would be the next jump up from the 3G iPad which is sold by both Verizon Wireless and AT&T Wireless.

However, early hints like this are uncharacteristic of Apple. The company keeps its product announcements under tight wraps and wouldn’t usually let its launch partners hint at a product the day before it is announced. So what do you think, are Verizon and AT&T going to get a 4G iPad or are there other exciting products coming down the pike?
