Previously it was just one of the features of the iPad app and now it’s a standalone application – Watch With eBay for iPad is in the App Store, promising to change the way you watch TV and shop for related products.
Basically the whole application is divided into two separate parts. One, Watch With eBay, is made for couch commerce enthusiasts, guiding them to products related to their favorite TV shows in real time with the ability to curate content by category. For instance, there’s an option to browse designers from the red carpet of this year’s award shows or find sports memorabilia for your fan collections.
The other part, Shop Like a Star, provides an “inside look at featured celebrities’ favorite items,” while eBay curates shopping results related to the celebrity picks. Additionally, you can donate a portion of your money to a charity at check out…
So what can we say? If you’re an avid TV shopper and also like to save some cash using eBay, you’ll want to try out Watch with eBay. Otherwise — if you’re anything like me and don’t watch TV — feel free to skip this app. It’s your call…
