Daily Steals has a sweet, er, deal for an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It’s only valid for the the rest of the day, but if you act now you can get your hands on one for only $459.99. It usually retails for around $650 or $750 depending on where you buy it.

Just to recap some of features, the Galaxy Nexus is the first Android handset to ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It has a dual-core 1.2GHz processor inside along with 16GB of storage and 4G LTE connectivity. Samsung killed off its plans for a 32GB model last month, but luckily 16GB should be adequate for most. There’s an insanely large 4.65-inch display on the front which is probably necessary to accommodate Ice Cream Sandwich’s software navigation buttons. Above that is a 1.3MP camera for video calling and a better 5MP shooter with 1080p HD video recording on the rear of the device.

It’s a pretty nifty smartphone and one of the best Android phones to date, as proclaimed by our review. At $459 for the unlocked and contract-free model, it won’t be easy to find a better deal. If you’re the type of person that believes you can’t put a price on freedom, taking the contract-free route is your best option. Meanwhile, if you’re looking for an even better price on the Galaxy Nexus, you can always sell your soul to Verizon Wireless. That chops $160 off of the cost to $299.99, but you’ll be tied in with the carrier for two years.

If you’re interested in snagging the Galaxy Nexus at Daily Steals, hurry on over and get buying before it’s too late. If you’re still not convinced, take a look at our video below.
