I’m pretty happy when my phone is still chugging along around 10 p.m. at night on a single charge but Qualcomm is being a one-upper by using a Snapdragon-powered phone to film in nine cities around the world on a single charge.
In the video below, you’ll see some of the footage of this 36,000-mile journey. To be fair, it appears as if the SnapDragon phone was turned off while it was in transport but that’s kind of expected, as we know the phones don’t last for multiple weeks.
The point of the video is that Qualcomm is trying to show off how much better the battery life of its Snapdragon phones are than the competition. Unlike some other chip makers, Qualcomm builds its processors from the ground up and it says this enables it to provide great battery life.
If you’ve seen that with your own Snapdragon phone, go ahead and film a video of what you can do on a single charge and share it on the Snapdragon Facebook page. You could win a phone or a tablet.
