Wirelexsoft, a company which developed VistaMax IDE 2.0 for UIQ 3, announced VistaMax Visual Express for S60 2.1. This product is Wirelexsoft’s most recent addition to its successful suite of Eclipse-based IDEs with RAD capabilities for Symbian-based platforms, as well as for Linux and J2ME.

VistaMax Visual Express is a comprehensive C++ development environment geared towards S60 2.1 application development. It has an extensive palette that covers all aspects of UI design in S60 2.1, yet at 50$ it is priced to be within reach of the average budget developer.

It is a complete, easy to learn, intuitive C++ end-to-end graphical based IDE that has all capabilities of conventional text-based IDEs, plus it provides advanced visual development capabilities. Its palette contains about 60 UI elements, which allows User Interfaces to be designed by “Drag & Drop” on the basis of “What You See Is What You Get”.

VistaMax Visual Express can import and export to other IDEs, such as Code Warrior and Carbide.c++ Express, and can also connect to Version Control Systems such as CVS and ClearCase, through built-in and third party plug-ins.
