Motorola announced that 3G-enabled versions of XOOM 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition are now available in the UK through Carphone Warehouse (and we guess some other retailers as well). You know what to expect and we’ll just shortly repeat it here – the new device(s) build on the original XOOM tablet, boasting slightly faster processor (1.2GHz dual-core) and graphics so you can, well, play even more advanced games.
Wi-Fi-only variants are also available and the pricing goes like this:
- Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition Wi-Fi-only – from 299.99 GBP
- Motorola XOOM 2 Wi-Fi-only – 349.99 GBP
- Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition Wi-Fi + 3G – 399.99 GBP
- Motorola XOOM 2 Wi-Fi + 3G – 449.99 GBP
Honestly I can’t recommend Moto’s tablets over some others, but they are definitely pretty affordable (when compared to the competition). I like the smaller model (XOOM 2 Media Edition) more as it’s easier to carry around. Then again you may don’t mind and even appreciate the bigger screen…
