According to 9to5 Mac, some Apple stores are replacing white iPhone 4 handsets with a white iPhone 4S . This isn’t a company-wide replacement policy, but a local phenomenon that’s only happening in select stores which have exhausted their inventory of white iPhone 4 handsets.
The iPhone 4S would be a refurbished unit, but that’s still a decent trade-up for a current white iPhone 4 owner. Who wouldn’t want a better camera, an A5 processor and Siri for the cost of a Genius bar appointment?
