AT&T launches Mobile Applications for Small Business website

Most small businesses across the world still haven’t adopted mobile technology in a big way. Sure enough, pretty much every smartphone user checks his/her email from a mobile device, but that’s just one piece of the puzzle.

According to the recent AT&T Small Business Technology Poll, 85% of small businesses surveyed use smartphones and about one-third use mobile apps to keep their businesses going wherever they may be. To help these businesses further mobile-ize their operations, the carrier prepared Mobile Applications for Small Business website, showcasing apps that could prove useful for this segment.

The website is easy to use, explaining functionality and benefits of every app on the list. Moreover, interested small businesses can purchase apps they like right from the website as well as connect to AT&T’s SMART app recommender tool.

Finally, to further entice app purchases, through May 1, 2012, AT&T is offering special rebates on select mobile apps for small businesses purchasing smartphones with appropriate voice and data plans. You can get more information on that offer from here…
