British supermarket giant ASDA launched an Android app to make it easy for users to shop for groceries while on the go.

The free to download application lists all of the products ASDA’s website has, and allows you to quickly shop for favorite articles (those you order frequently and/or have them in your Favourites list). Moreover, you can search for items using voice, barcode scanner or text; and then sort results by brands and price. Special offers also come included and by tapping the red Multisave flags you can view all items included in the offer.

And that’s not all – there’s an option to book a delivery slot, review the items in your trolley (and check out whenever you’re ready), view the status of your orders in your order history; as well as to find nearby ASDA stores, view store hours and get directions.

Finally, it’s worth adding that aside from Android, ASDA’s app is also available for the iPhone…
